Natural Family Planning Teachers Association of Ireland (NFPTAI)

We are sorry to note the death of Wyn Worthington on 10 February 2009, which occurred after a short illness at her son’s home in Whitley Bay, Tyne & Weir, England. Wyn was a pioneer in Natural Family Planning and in partnership with Dr Anna Flynn ran the first Teacher’s Training Course in Ireland in Galway in 1987, after which the NFPTAI was formed. She and Anna gave generously of their time and expertise to running NFP Courses in Ireland. Anna Flynn predeceased Wyn in 1997, but Wyn continued to teach here in Ireland for several more years. We owe them both a great debt. We would like to convey our condolences to Wyn’s son, Bill, and his family on their great loss. May she rest in peace.
