A course in Fertility Awareness leading to a Certificate to teach Natural Family Planning (the Symptothermal, multiple index method of NFP), will be held in The Pillar Room, Rotunda Hospital, Dublin 1. Cost 350.00 euro. Places 20.
The Course, which starts on 24/25 September 2011, will be conducted over 6 weekends from September 2011 to November 2011, with one week-end in April 2012,
The Course is in two parts: Part 1 in the first three weekends covers the Theory of NFP and Charting in Normal Circumstances. Part 1 examination is held on the 3rd week-end.
Part 2 in the 4th and 5th weekends covers the application of natural family planning in the Special Circumstances of (i) pre-menopause, (ii) after childbirth and during breastfeeding, and (iii) in the post-Pill situation after the woman has stopped using hormonal contraception of any kind, and subfertility and infertility.
